Sell Your Soul to Reddit

I am aware that most of my readers have already discovered reddit because that is where I receive most of my traffic from. For those of you who haven't, boy do I have something for you. Reddit is commonly referred to as the front page of the internet, there you'll find stories, videos, pictures, rage comics, and GIFs that have been posted by its users. When viewing a post either you like it or you don't. If you do you can give it an up vote and if not down vote it. Basically you're controlling the posters happiness by voting. The posts with the most up votes make it to the front page, and as a redditor, that's your goal. I've made it to the front page once with the post "That One Guy" and let me tell you it was a great day for me. There is a lot of excitement involved with watching your post being thrown around with up votes and down votes. Good luck and try not to spend too much time on there. It's incredibly addicting so enjoy it and thanks for reading!
                                                           qp-c-Reddit-3030-02

If any of you make any Reddit posts leave a link in the description and I'll leave ya an upvote no matter what and I trust that everyone reading will upvote you as well. If enough people comment with their posts I'll put up some of my favorites, thanks again!

Weekend Project, Make a Fire Cannon

Here is another pyro related activity so again, be safe with the fire! This creative craft may require you to go out to the store and pick up a few cheap items but there is nothing too expensive so don't worry. Since I cannot describe the steps very well without video enjoy this YouTube clip on the subject. Don't burn your house down but do try to impress your friends. Another useful tip I should share with you is to do it outside  This guy in the video could have caught something on fire easily but he's a bit of a pro. Thanks for reading (watching?) and enjoy!

Fire cannon    HEY! Sorry about the lack of posts lately I've been really busy with school and sports but I will continue to try to get things up as often as possible so don't stop sharing the blog and spreading the word. Thanks!

Go to a Concert, Try Sum 41

Concerts are my favorite things about music, by far. If you've never seen a great live band play up o a stage you're missing out. I'm not talking about pop concerts or rap concerts or even mainstream rock concerts, this is about punk rock. If you don't like punk or pop punk don't leave yet, just hear me out. On Friday November 30th I experienced the best two hours of my life at Sum 41's 10th Anniversary Tour of Does This Look Infected? and by God it was like nothing I have ever seen before.
SUM 41 Live in Kuala Lumpur

The Music
Lets begin with the music. It's fast paced, easy to sing to, heavy, and emotional. While singing one of his newer songs Deryck, the band's front man, was crying. It was hard to tell and he didn't act like he was but I saw some tears roll out of his eyes and that just made me love these guys even more because it shows how real and raw their music really is to them and to the fans. Not only is it raw but it's fun to listen to because it's so dang catchy! Their most popular song, Fat Lip, was recently ranked the third catchiest song ever written behind We Are the Champions and YMCA. Check them out and support them by buying some songs or albums here at amazon, which is cheaper than iTunes, just saying.

The Crowd
Groups of teens and young adults filled up the theater until it was packed. Before Sum 41 came on me and the too people I came with easily found plenty of people to talk to. Everyone there was so chill and nice about everything! Once the band came on to play their opener a mosh pit started right in the center. There is nothing like a punk rock mosh pit. The coolest thing about it was this unwritten law. Inside the pit people were annihilating each other but the second someone fell everyone around them formed a little wall to protect them from being trampled and picked them back up again. That was probably one of the coolest things I had ever seen. Then there was another time when a girl dropped her phone and couldn't' find it. The whole pit stopped and got down on their hands and knees and used the light from their phones to help her find hers. Another plus was the crowd surfing! Being on top of a crowd like that is crazy especially when you trust everyone there to not drop you. It's just an etiquette kind of thing, always hold up the crowd surfers  It was simply amazing, that bond between everyone there was so strong it felt like a brotherhood and I'd give anything to see it again. Thanks for reading and if you have any awesome concert stories leave them in the comments below.

Recreational and Competitive Paintball

Paintball is a game enjoyed by hundreds of people year around. It is a billion dollar industry annually and the fastest growing extreme sport in the world. There are plenty of public arenas  around most areas and almost anyone can go and play. Being in a paintball match is not easy. It requires plenty of gear including a gun or marker, ammo, a hopper and CO2. All of these items that you need can be bought as one ultimate beginners starter kit. Keep in mind that this can be an expensive sport even when playing for only a day, but from experience it is one hundred percent worth the money. Not only can you play for a day but you can join teams that play in a range from low competition to the professional level. Obviously it requires some skill to play professionally but it's possible! In fact you can order a guide titled Paintball Heroes that will teach you how to be a master paintballer! I've never played on a team but I can only imagine how much of an adrenaline rush it gives you out there.
Paintball

Games
After getting used to the concept you can start to play different games like capture the flag, elimination, ammunition limits, defending or attacking a particular point or area, or capturing objects of interest hidden in the playing area. These games can last anywhere from a few hours to days depending on the league, game, and limits. Although there can be set rules they vary game to game. These rules are stated before the beginning of the match and should be followed throughout or you could be kicked out. If you aren't too fond of rules just play in the woods with your friends.

Just Try It Out
It doesn't matter who you are this is something I greatly encourage all of you to try. The adrenaline rush during a match is so incredible that it's seemingly addicting. I live it so much that I'm saving up for my own paintball gun so playing recreational matches will be far cheaper. I encourage all of you to do the same. Below is a quick video I found showing some paintball in action. Enjoy and thanks for reading!

Five Free PC Games to Play When You're Bored

Free online games can be just as fun to play as some paid games, it all depends on taste. In fact, a friend of mine gave up playing all of his paid PC games to take up the hundreds of free ones that he can download online. If you're the type who wants some cheap entertainment than check out some of these free games to play when you're bored. The descriptions are short but that's so you can see for yourself what the game is like!

1. Super Mario Bros. Crossover
In this game you can choose between six characters from other classic NES games to play on the format of Super Mario Bros. Each of these characters can use their own powers from their original games to help them jump, fight, and throw their way to victory.
Super-Mario-Bros-Crossover

2. Realm of the Mad God
This mmorpg is one of the most popular games I know. Or at least that's what I've heard. No one I know seems to know about it but when I made an account there were millions of players online. Basically all you do is wander around the world and use the weapons and armor that you find to defeat the endless waves of enemies with your fellow gamers. It's a pretty fun game and it's easy to get lost in, that is, until you die and then you don't want to play for a while.
Realm of the Mad God

3. Spelunky
Spelunky is an open source Indiana Jones style game in which you control a spelunker who dives into caves to find treasure, save damsels, and dodge traps. There are two things I absolutely love about this game. One is that the levels are randomly generated so you will never undergo the same challenge again. The second reason is that there are many mods or modified versions of the game which are available mostly on the forums. While playing this you will die a lot and it'll be frustrating but you'll learn eventually!
spelunky-xbla-06

4. Hobo Wars
Hobo Wars is a role playing game in which you join gangs, train, ride shopping carts, go on adventures, breed rats, and fight thousands of other players around the world. Not only is it creative but it really is as good as it sounds.

5. Mari0
This game is a genius mix of Super Mario Bros. and Portal! Of all of these games this is the best I have played for free, ever. It's almost indescribable because it just is what it sounds like. Mario holding a portal gun, who would have thought? I won't describe it too much so you can hurry up and download it!
Mari0 Screenshot5

Well there they are, some of my favorite free PC games. I'll eventually get around to posting another article with more games so if you have any ideas please leave them in the comments below and I'll check them out for sure. Happy gaming and thanks for reading!

Mountain Bike Through Neighborhoods, Mountains, and Whatever is in Your Way

Biking is one of the most used forms of exercise. Biking does not require hard work but it can use as much as you put in. This is a great thing to do when you're bored because it takes up plenty of time and always stays interesting. To ensure a great experience choose a good place to ride. There should always be a place to ride so here are some ideas. In order to ride at these locations it would be best to have a mountain bike.
Bike @Champles-66

Neighborhoods, Golf Course
Some neighborhoods have great paths and some have no paths. It all depends on where you live. My neighborhood has some great paths. In fact my house is right on a golf course. This gives me an easily accessible option. There are plenty of hills and banked turns which make for an exhilarating ride. Not only are there golf paths but there is also an abandoned 9 holes that are covered with overgrown plants and trees. Riding through there is a dream, of course, only if you have a mountain bike.

Mountain Trails
Given that most people don't live near mountains this may only be an option for vacations and camping trips. If you ever get the chance please ride the hills. Riding through mountain trails is challenging, it gets your adrenaline pumping, and has great scenery. I'd live out there if I could. I'd ride through streams, over fallen down trees, and under caves. I beg you to try it out, it will be something you never forget.

Construction Sites
This option is the riskiest by far but also one of the most intense so don't forget your helmet. Just imagine, a giant heap of dirt, and then a few more, and a bike. Riding over these hills and flinging up dirt behind you can be quite the sight. Not only will you be going at high speeds but you will also have the excitement of sliding and drifting over loose rocks and pebbles. Throw a couple of smaller dirt mounds in and you've got yourself a small ramp. Let your imagination fly with this.

Well there are a few places to ride. If you know of any others please by all means tell me what I've missed in the comments below! Thanks for reading!

Make Handheld Fireballs

First of all, making handheld fireballs can be dangerous if you do not follow the instructions very carefully! For me this experiment ranks at #1 for many reasons, but mostly because it's so unique. Below will be some instructions on how to make these little wonders but in order to do this you must acquire a few items. You'll need a 2x3 piece of 100% cotton fabric, a generous amount of 100% cotton thread, either Zippo or Ronsonol lighter fluid, and a match or lighter. Enjoy and try not to burn down the house!

fireball first attempt
  1. Roll the cotton strip into a tight ball and wrap the thread around it to almost cover up the entire ball. For the most part all the thread does is keep the ball in shape.
  2. Either tie the thread around the ball or use a needle to pierce the ball and cut the access thread off.
  3. Lay the ball on the frying pan and saturate the ball with the lighter fluid. Clean up any extra fluid on the pan and make sure your hands are clean as well.
  4. Light the ball with a lighter or match while it's on the pan. Do not light the ball while you are holding it.
  5. Quickly pick up the ball and roll it around in your hand. You can hold it still but it could get a bit hot so my advice is to keep it moving.
  6. As the lighter fluid runs out the ball starts burning and smoking so quickly cup the ball with your hands and muffle the flame. If this is done soon enough you can reuse the same ball, just dip it in the lighter fluid and repeat. Or if you're a beginner and want to be careful just throw it into a bucket of water.
Well there you have it! Have fun with this but be safe as well. For those of you who are visual learners here is a video explaining this tricky experiment. If you like playing with fire stay tuned for a lesson on making a fire ball canon, which also is dangerous but pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Thanks for reading and if you have any questions please ask!

Flip Cups Of Water Upside Down

Here is a great trick that anyone, yes anyone, should easily be able to pull off. It only requires a glass of water and a sheet of paper. Basically all you have to do is fill up the glass, cover the top with paper, flip it over on to a counter top, and then remove the paper. Sounds easy? It should be! Just in case here's a quick video explaining this cool phenomenon.

Weight of The World
Now doesn't that look fun? If not then take it a step further. For instance put twenty cups like this on the counter and waiting to see the person who makes the mistake of trying to pick them up. Just imagine coming home after a long day of work or school only to see tons of upside down cups all over the place. That'd be a drag right? Sure would; so it's good you know how to do this and none of your friends. Another great time to perform this trick is at a restaurant when you have a friend or someone who can take a joke waiting you at a restaurant. Right as you leave quickly flip your cups upside down and give person a surprise! Oh the places to go with this. Enjoy ticking someone off and thanks for reading!

Cleverbot, Talk to an Intelligent Online Robot

Cleverbot 2
Have you ever wanted to talk to a robot? Well of course not, it probably hasn't ever crossed your mind has it? Nevertheless this intelligent online talking robot can be a lot of fun. A great boredom killing activity especially in school or at a library. This robot, named Cleverbot, is an online application that allows anyone to converse freely about anything they want and get replies from a non-human source. Although it's quite intelligent, it isn't perfect, in fact far from it. This causes some funny answers and conversations to arise that can amuse you for hours on end. Of course it is important to use carefully due to the robots tendency to learn from humans. As we all know humans can say some pretty inappropriate stuff and like a little kid, Cleverbot picks it up just like that. One other major flaw I have found is that it thinks it is Jesus Christ. After hours of persuasion it still would not believe me but hey, I tried and you could too. Have fun talking to your new best friend and thanks for reading!

Make Beats, Synths and Music on the Computer and iPhone

FL Studio Mobile Review for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad     Making beats and trance songs ranging from dubstep to the typical rap background can be exciting as well as addicting! This can be done by anyone, you don't need to be a pro or even have any experience with these programs. Plus, there are plenty of tutorials on how to use the most popular software like FL Studio! It is a great program and they even have a mobile app so you can create on the go. Whenever your're sitting around bored with nothing to do, just whip out the old iDevice and let your imagination do the rest! There are other mobile apps too like Music Studio, Rhythm Studio and Dubstep Studio. All of these do cost money with the exception of the lite version of Music Studio but keep in mind that they are all worth the price and it's a small price to pay because you have tons of fun using this especially when you're bored out of your mind. While at home I do recommend the computer software only because it has more features. Especially a software called Dubturbo. This isn't a well known program yet but it won't take long for more people to realize how well it works. Best of luck with your creations and if you make anything cool just send me a link in the comments. Thanks for reading!

Here is a song that I wrote using the mobile app "Music Studio". Tell me how you like it, It took me awhile to make! Thanks!

Learn How to Play the Guitar

“I went to my friend’s house one day, and he had an electric guitar he had just bought with a tiny little amp. I turned the volume up to 10 and I hit one chord, and I said, I’m in love."
- Ace Frehley

Overview
Playing guitar can be a great hobby to pick up, it's impressive, fun and challenging all at the same time. Not to mention the fact that acts as a great thing to do when you're bored. Learning to play the guitar is a difficult task but it can be done with some assistance. I picked up guitar over the boring summer of 2011 and have been hooked ever since. It isn't the cheapest of hobbies but it doesn't have to be overly expensive either. There are some great beginning guitar packages for around one hundred dollars which include an amp and other necessities.

Getting Started
To begin to play you need a guitar and preferably lessons. Do not try to teach yourself, it can be a very frustrating, slow and will probably end up turning you off of the hobby. Many professionals highly recommend that you get lessons from a good instructor. It can be hard, however, to find the right teacher but it is important to find the kind of teacher that can teach you the music you want to learn. There are many articles explaining in great detail how to find the perfect teacher.
soni 49     There is also another method of learning that works well too. That's right, the internet. First off, it isn't nearly as effective as a teacher but it is good for anyone who has been playing for a few months and isn't a complete beginner. If you are a beginner you can check out some online courses that you can start off learning from and become a better player in no time. YouTube is also a great place for lessons because many are very well explained and not to mention they're free. Some great channels to check out are martyzongs, fastfingerfreddy, and nailguitar. I wish you all good luck and for those of you who play or learn to play, please put some videos up on YouTube and put a link in the comments. Thanks for Reading!

Wrap Your Head Around These Sentences

Buffalo
Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo. Sounds like nothing? It sure does but it's a grammatically valid sentence! In fact, there is a whole Wikipedia page dedicated to explain this sentence. Let me break it down for you. The first "buffalo" describes a place, in this case it is the city of Buffalo. The second "buffalo" is the plural subject of the sentence, it is an animal, a buffalo. The third is an uncommonly used verb meaning to bully or intimidate. This is what the first Buffalo buffalo does. The fourth "buffalo" is again referring to the city of Buffalo. To finish off the sentence the last word is referring to the animal again. So the buffalo from Buffalo, buffalo the other buffalo from Buffalo. If you still don't understand just keep thin king about it. It can take some time to fully understand the sentence. Once you do, test your English teacher with it. Below are some more great sentences to read when you're bored, if anyone has one to add please leave it in the comments. Thanks for reading!

  • Will Will will the will to Will?
  • Rose rose to put rose roes on her rows of roses.
  • James while John had had had had had had had had had had had a better effect on the teacher. (personal favorite)
  • Can can can can can can can can can can.
  • If the police police police police, who polices the police police? Police police police police police police!
  • "Wouldn't the sentence 'I want to put a hyphen between the words Fish and And and And and Chips in my Fish-And-Chips sign' have been clearer if quotation marks had been placed before Fish, and between Fish and and, and and and And, and And and and, and and and And, and And and and, and and and Chips, as well as after Chips?"

Make A Homemade Lava Lamp

Making a homemade lava lamp is a very cool "science experiment" based activity that can be done with easily accessible items found around the house. All that you need is a one liter clear bottle, water, cooking oil, food coloring and Alka-Seltzer. Cheap and easy, two great words you love to hear when you're bored! Below are the steps to make this great little contraption.

1. Pour 3/4 of a cup of water into the one liter bottle (it helps to use a funnel).

2. Pour the oil in until it reaches the plastic ring at the tip of the cup. When pouring in the oil make sure to tilt the bottle sideways so that the water and oil do not mix and the water rests at the bottom.

3. Wait until the oil and water settle out so that the oil doesn't have any bubbles in it.

4. Add eight drops of food coloring, I do not suggest using yellow due to the fact that the oil is yellow.

5. Drop two tablets of the Alka-Seltzer into the bottle.

Homemade lava lampsThe reaction should begin immediately. After the Alka-Seltzer passes the oil and hits the water it will start dissolving which will carry bubbles of oil and food coloring with it thus making a reaction similar to that of a lava lamp. To make it even more impressive put the bottle on top of a flashlight and you will get the light effect too. Keep in mind that you do not have to use the exact amounts of ingredients I named here, they were just something to get you started. Feel free to experiment with it however you like and if you have any questions ask them in the comments, thanks for reading!

Make a Putt-Putt Golf Course In Your Yard

Golf ballHave you ever been bored on a beautiful day and not been able to think of something to do outside? Try making a putt-putt golf course around your house! No matter how ridiculous it sounds it can still be a great activity, especially for kids. Not only is it fun to play, but it is fun to make, not to mention the fact that all you need is a putter, a golf ball, and a small shovel. If you wanted to get creative try using other materials such as small kiddy slides, plastic tubes and and ramps. The bigger it is the better. Here is another idea, everyone knows how young kids like to sell lemonade at a stand (or in some cases water, I have bought a Dixie cup of water for a buck fifty before) so setting up a golf course business could be a constructive way to have fun. It sure beats sitting inside, bored, on that beautiful day. Doing this can also spark an interest in golf which really is a great sport no matter what people say about it. Besides, the people who speak badly of it have never tried it or have tried and quit because it was too hard for them.

So there you go, a simple activity that can be as complicated as you make it. Just cut your grass short and dig some small holes and you're good to go. Have fun outside! If you end up trying this out comment with a link to a picture of yours, I swear no matter what it looks like it is better than mine.

For Those of you who are in need of some equipment, here is a set of balls, holes (if you do not want to dig any in your yard), and clubs. Enjoy!

Jailbreak Your iPod Touch or iPhone

For those of you who do not know what it is, Jailbreaking an iPod or iPhone gives you more control over how your device functions and what kinds of software you can put on there. For awhile many people thought of jailbreaking as illegal but that is not the case. It is nothing but fun, and it unlocks so many great features, like playing game boy games, getting moving backgrounds, getting Android and Windows like operating systems, downloading YouTube videos and so much more! In other words, it is probably the coolest thing you could possibly do on an apple device, not to mention the hours of entertainment you derive from exploring and experimenting with the cool software, themes, tweaks, and games you can get. Basically all that jailbreaking will do is give you a new app store called Cydia. This app store is the source of all your downloads whether they be themes, tweaks, apps or games. I cannot count the many times I have just played around with all the cool features during times of boredom. It really is a great thing to do when you're bored! There is one downside to jailbreaking, it voids your warranty with apple so if you want to be safe just jailbreak after your warranty is over.

How to Jailbreak
To jailbreak you will be downloading a software from a site called GreenPois0n. It sounds sketchy but do not worry, millions of people use this site and it is virus free. After getting to the website there will be a list of downloads for different firmwares. Download whichever corresponds to your device and if you do not know what firmware you have, go to your settings-> general-> about and scroll down to your version and that is your firmware. Unfortunately, not all firmwares are currently available. The lowest available is 4.1 and the highest is 5.1.1. It won't be long before there is a jailbreak available for ios 6, just be patient. Below is a video that will explain in perfect detail how to jailbreak a device on ios 5.1.1, enjoy.
Some Things to Check Out

Fly a Kite With a Fishing Pole and More

Kids fly kites, teens fly kites, everyone flies a kite sometime. So why not try it yourself? Cheap kites can be purchaesd at stores like Toys 'R' Us for the easy price of ten dollars. Any kite cheaper than this will not work well and anything more expensive isn't worth it unless you develop a passion for flying kites, which many people do not have. Here are some fun ways to fly your kite...

1. The first way you can fly your kite is with a fishing rod and line. The rod makes it very easy to let the kite out and reel it in quickly and the line is usually long enough to reach a couple hundred feet in the air. Now won't that look intimidating to your fellow flyers?

2. If there is no wind try hooking the kite up to the back of your bike. It should be very easy to get the kite up and flying unless you are biking in an area with trees, that would be a bit of a challenge.

3. Go to the highest point on your house, like a second floor window, and tie the kite to something inside the house and right next to the window. Then let the kite out and if there is enough wind you can fly it up from inside, and leave it there and see how long it stays up. If it is high enough there should constantly be enough wind and the kite should stay up for hours or even days.

4. This is something I used to try all the time and usually it never worked except for one day during a hurricane. Tie the end of the kite's string to a small object that is heavy enough to keep tension on the line but at the same time is light enough to be picked up by the kite. If this is done correctly the kite should fly up into the sky and continue rising and flying away from you until it's gone. Personally, that is my favorite way to fly a kite.
Aaron's Kite

So there you have it, a cheap way to have fun when you're bored. If anyone knows any other better ways to fly a kite put it in the comments and I'll add it to the post. Thanks!

Make Money Online By Completing Surveys and Offers

Overview
Here is an easy way to make time fly when you're bored and even earn a little extra money every month and trust me, boredom and money go very well with each other. Although it does not make you rich overnight, this method of surveys and offers can produce a nice sum of money over time, even if you only participate for a couple minutes a day! With only about five minutes of your time everyday you can make up to twenty dollars a month. Sure it doesn't sound like a lot, but it's a nice dinner out, good gas money, or one step closer to that new Mac book Pro. This site is called Cashcrate, it is a legitimate site that I have used for three months making the minimal payout of twenty dollars each month. Basically how it works is the website getting advertised pays Cashcrate, and they direct most of that money back to you. There are many options to choose from when deciding how you want to make your money, you can do it through surveys, offers, shopping and receiving money back, or the best way... referrals. Now completing offers and surveys pay about fifty cents to three dollars on average but to start making real money online it is important to go with referrals.

Get Paid To Do Free Offers!Referrals
Referrals are earned when someone signs up for Cashcrate under your link, which is given to you on the referrals section of the website. When this person makes money you get twenty percent of their earnings without doing anything. Sounds too good to be true? It isn't. When your referrals add up you can start to make buckets of money. Many people easily make over one thousand dollars a month through referrals alone and just think, they didn't work to get any of it! Think about it this way, if you have twenty referrals (and I'm sure you have at least that many friends to get to sign up) that each make the minimum payout of twenty dollars per month, you make eighty dollars that month. And if that doesn't sound good enough, if your referrals have their own referrals, you make ten percent of whatever those people make! It adds up fast, trust me. Happy earnings!

If anyone has any questions on how to use the site please ask in the comments and I will get back to you as soon as possible!

Play Nintendo Games On Your Computer With Nestopia

Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
The Ninetendo Entertainment System was released in 1985 in America and was recently named the greatest video game console of all time by IGN surpassing other renowned systems like the Game Cube, Play Station and the Xbox. Finding this particular system can be difficult, which is a shame because it is a such great console. Thankfully there is an easy and free way to play NES games! At a site called nestopia you will find downloads for an NES emulator for both Mac and PC. An emulator is a program that allows you to run old Nintendo games like Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda, and Mega Man 2 right on your computer. This program, and the games which are called ROM's, are completely free! Just because it's free doesn't mean it is low quality either, it runs smoothly on almost all computers. There is a ROM for practically every game ever created for this platform and they can be downloaded from a site called Cool Roms. Even though these games are up for free it is still important to donate to the company who developed the games. Have fun and happy gaming!

Make a Sculpture Out of Anything

Making sculptures can be for the heck of it or for a hobby, many people do consider sculpting to be an art and it is! Clay isn't the only material that can be used, be creative and use whatever you can find. A great place to start is the recycling bin. Take everything out and make whatever you want whether it be of a person or just a tower built as high as possible. Sometimes the pointless sculptures are the most fun to build! After venturing into sculpting with recyclables hit the great outdoors and build something in nature, just imagine the possibilities! If anyone decides to try this out leave a comment and a link to a picture of it I'd love to see what you come up with

Watch The Marble Hornets, Entry #1

This is a bit of a follow up post from the earlier one regarding the slender man. In 2006 a group of people were filming a movie for college, led by a guy named Alex. This movie was to be titled "Marble Hornets" but it was never finished due to strange occurrences around the set. These YouTube entries are over four hours long all together and have a great story line and some crazy suspense about what happened to Alex and his friends. The more you watch the more intrigued by it you'll get so here is the first entry plus the intro but make sure to watch all sixty, enjoy...

Running Makes You Beautiful, The Benefits of Running

Running is hard, time consuming, exhausting, and even mentally tough; so why do people do it? People run for many reasons, most because of weight issues but there are many benefits of running that not only improve body shape and muscle but also help internally and emotionally. Some of these internal benefits are powerful lungs, a stronger and more effective heart, the prevention of muscle and bone decay, help fighting disease, and raising good cholesterol levels. A few emotional benefits are better confidence, training of the mind, lower stress levels and of course the famous runners high.

                                The High
One of the greatest benefits of running, to me, is the runners high which is just a state of happiness you get after or while running. The cause for this is a chemical your body releases called serotonin, which circulates through your blood stream putting the runner into a trance in which that person feels like they could keep going forever. After the workout, most everyone, especially the person with the high, would feel happy and excited about nearly everything as if they were on the top of the world! You may not feel that way immediately after but as soon as you hit the shower and get out it's much better.

Getting Started

So my advice to you, start running. But how? It really is easy, just start out small. Lets say you are in alright shape. Thin, but you haven't been exercising much so a half mile should be a good start. If that's challenging then good, keep doing it until it becomes easy. Then bump up your distance to one mile and then a mile and a half and so on. Depending on your athletic ability this improvement could be quick and easy to see within a few weeks and if not it could take a little longer. Now for another aspect, clothing and shoes. To find a good pair of shoes that are fitted according to what you need go to a local running store and the workers should be able to put you in a shoe according to how you run. A great brand of shoes, the kind I wear, are Brooks. For new runners these shoes with good arch support should work great. For other clothes, wear whatever feels comfortable. A light shirt, light shorts, compression shorts and none cotton socks like the brand Swift Wick which are extraordinarily comfortable to run in. Another useful accessory would be a watch, just to keep track of time. Also do NOT forget to hydrate with a BPA free bottle and eat healthy for the best possible performance! Now that you've got it started continue to run and be happy, best of luck to you all! Ask questions or share any success stories in the comments. Below are some running products that are a big help and as always, thanks for reading!

Play Slender, The Man in the Black Suit

Here is a game for anyone who wishes to pee all over themselves while being hypnotized by the Slender Man's very being. The object of the game is to collect eight pages that are posted throughout the map by others who have been in the same position, kidnapped. While looking for the pages you are also running from Slender so ever look back. Every time you see him the closer he'll get and every time a new page is collected, the scarier the game becomes. Very few people have collected all eight pages so become one of those few by downloading it here. Here is an excerpt from the website about the legend of slender...

"Not much is known, as no specific information has been found about origins, but his objective and habitat are made very clear. He has the need to kidnap children, and is seen right before the disappearance of a child or multiple children. He seems to prefer fog enshrouded streets and wooded areas as a way to conceal himself from being noticed. It should also be noted that children have been able to see him when no other adults in the vicinity could. Children also have dreams or nightmares concerning The Slender Man before their disappearance. Confiding these stories to their parents are met with the usual parental admonition: overactive imaginations."

Learn How to Back Flip Safely

Learning how to back flip can seriously impress your friends and others who walk by and happen to see you. This video I found will train you to be able to back flip safely and accurately compared to most tutorials that basically say "step one, prepare for back flip, step two, do the back flip".  I've always been afraid of jumping backwards and landing on my head but after this video I am proud to say that I have almost learned to be able to flip successfully, good luck and tell me in the comments if this works for you!

Create Your Own Computer Games Without Code

This is a great thing to do especially if you have a creative mind! Programming your own computer games can be done easily even if you don't know code with drag and drop commands. The possibilities are literally endless as you create your own graphics and program them to move, shoot, etc. This software, Game Maker can be downloaded for free here! There is a paid version hat allows extra things like 3D game building and other software platforms like IOS and Android so if you succeed with the free version don't hesitate to buy the full version, have fun and happy gaming!

I myself have created a game using this software, to download my game titled Mr. Stanley click here! The game is a basic platform game, arrow keys to move, jump and squat plus the space bar to shoot. Tell me how you like it (or hate it) in the comments below! If you create a game send me a link and I'll play it, thanks!

Start a Band

First of all, starting a band can be fun whether you are skilled in the music field or not. A couple of my friends started a band last year and they suck, but they know it and they embrace that because all they want to do is have fun! The same can go for you, pick up a guitar, learn some chords and find other musicians, or "musicians", to play with you. If you want to be a good band post fliers to find band members or get your friends into the idea. I personally am trying to get together a band with, me the guitarist, my sister who plays drums and my best friend who plays bass, and another friend who plays guitar also, so all we need now is a singer! Even though we don't have one its still fun just playing the music. Good luck and if you get good, gig as often as possible because who knows...my favorite band, Sum 41, started their band because they were bored and look at them now, they're one of the most successful punk rock bands around.

If any of you have a band or start one, comment and leave a link to your sound cloud or anything online with you're music because I'd love to hear it!

How to Make an Axe Smoke Bomb

Here's a simple way to tick someone off or just make a smelly room smell good again. All you have to do is take some axe and duct tape and tape the trigger down so the spray is continuous. I tried this sophomore year in high school while everyone was in the locker room and the results were fabulous. So go find some locker room somewhere and try out your experiment. Make sure to only do this with Axe because why waist something that actually smells good, like Old Spice?

90 Degree Bedroom Turn

Here's a great way to freak someone out and occupy yourself at the same time! All that's needed is you and your strong arms. Just go into a family member or friends room and simply flip every little thing 90 degrees one way or another. Flip the bed, flip the dressers, flip the pencil on the dresser flip it all and it won't look like much has changed but when the victim walks in they won't understand what happened right away, all they will know is that something feels different...

Parkour, Get From A to B as Quickly as Possible

Parkour is the art of moving over objects in an urban area quickly and with style. Me and my friends always used to do this because it was fun, made the time fly and is great exercise! It is not hard and anyone can do it, to become really good it takes practice and being in shape but that's not a problem, especially when you have nothing else to do! Have fun and maybe you can get as good as these guys in the video

Don't Shoot the Puppy

Here is an awesome online game in which you basically do nothing, if you do anything that involves the computer, the puppy dies. Good luck trying to beat it and here is a link

Learn How to Throw Cards

Hold the playing card with the number side facing down. For brand new cards, you can use either side. However, for used cards shuffling creates a lift on the backside. This will allow the card to go farther as well as faster.

Grab the side of the card with your thumb and index finger. The card should be completely level between your fingers.

Pull your hand back to your shoulder blade. Twist your wrist. Your fingers turn towards the ceiling. The card will slightly lift up at an angle. Instead of the card being level, it will be at an angle with your shoulder.

Swing your hand out away from your body quickly. Snap your wrist. Let go of the card when your arm is at a 45-degree angle.

If you practice enough maybe you'll be as good as this guy

Make a Zippo Blow Torch

Please do not try this inside but it's a lot of fun, just get yourself a nice Zippo and some axe or old spice and the rest is self explanatory, have fun and don't burn anything down!

The Old Hold a Cup Full of Water to The Ceiling Prank

This is a very easy simple prank. All you have to do is fill a cup up with water and ask a victim to hold a broom against while you put it on the ceiling. After it's up just get  down and walk away, they're stuck. But make sure the cup is as full as possible and don't use glass!
